We do not store personal data

While for various reasons we do monitor the amount of visitors to this site, and a rough idea of where they are coming from, we do not store personally identifying data.

We use a self-hosted version of Matomo, an open source alternative to Google Analytics that protects and respects privacy.

This has been set up so we don't store your full IP-address, but only a part of it. That allows us to see (more or less) from what country you're coming, but not keep track of individuals.

We do need that non-identifiable overview of how many people, and from what regions of the world, are visiting, for reporting to funders.

But we do not wish to sell you things, and we certainly won't sell your information as we don't store it, on purpose.
